Minnesota | Boston | Beyond
I grew up in Minnesota, USA in the suburb of Lakeville, in the “Land of 10,000 lakes.” I know, yikes. I learned a lot from Minnesotans, like how to be “Minnesota Nice” aka “Minnesota passive aggressive.” I also learned the roster for our state hockey team the Minnesota Wild, by fourth grade. Well what did you expect-it is the “State of Hockey.” All in all though, it was a pretty cool place to grow up.
My love of coffee comes from my dad who takes a sip of coffee and always says “mm nectar of the Gods.” Well who didn’t want to try the nectar of the Gods? Luckily my best friend’s mom would give me coffee in the mornings after our sleepovers way before my parents ever supported the addiction. They now understand I run on coffee, like other people run on water.
Travelling has been apart of my life since before I turned one year old. My first trip was to Arizona, USA to visit my grandparents. Since then I have traveled 24 US states, and three countries- with 10 more countries planned in the next five months. I will be living in Madrid for four months before embarking on a month long backpacking trip around Europe!
I know this will be the continuance of a life long dream of travelling the world. Exploring cultures, making memories, having adventures, and of course drinking coffee. I’d be honored if you’d follow along.
Where I grew up.
