Here’s 10 things you have to see/do in Duluth Minnesota.
One thing that might shock you is that Minnesotans in general are the nicest people you will meet (expect people to open doors, start random conversations, and tell you their life story).
Prepare for the weather no matter what season you go. Summer is HOT, winter is COLD(waterproof, insulated boots &jacket)
Caribou Coffee is the Dunkin Donuts of the midwest and it is perfect. Try their hot chocolate sometime-it will blow your mind.
Duluth is hilly AF so be prepared with a good car and snow tires so you don’t slip.
Parking is not too limited so you can drive almost anywhere.
“Well duh,”you might be saying. But yes it is a must see(not the you can miss it). This Great Lake is so freaking huge it blows my mind. It also is the coolest place to watch huge transport ships come in and out. The lake is especially cool when it freezes completely over in the winter. It’s probably on your bucket list to see a Great Lake, and I promise you-this is the one to see.
3. SARA’S TABLE
My personal favorite brunch place in the whole city. This hippie, organic, restaurant has vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free offerings. I suggest “Mary Ann’s Egg Sandwich” or the “Vegan Veggie Bowl.” You also need to down bottomless coffee at this place because it is delicious. My advice however is to get here early because it does fill up fast. But if you get caught in line, there is coffee offered to those on the waitlist!
5. UMD HOCKEY
6. VA BENE CAFFE
